Free download Aiseesoft AVCHD Video Converter, install and run it.
Step 1: Add the AVCHD file
As you see in image below, click the Add File button to browse your computer and add the AVCHD video you need to convert.
Step 2: Set output format as WMV
In the Profile drop-down list, choose "WMV - Windows Media Video (*.wmv)" format as output format. If you'd like to convert AVCHD to HD WMV, you can choose "HD WMV Video (*.wmv)".
Furthermore, if you want you can change the destination folder for output file: click Browse… button and choose the folder. And also you can set the video parameters including Encoder, Resolution, Frame Rate, Video Bitrate in Settings panel to customize output videos.
Step 3: Start the conversion
Press the Start button to start the AVCHD to WMV conversion. A few minutes later, your needed WMV file will be generated. You are supposed to click Open Folder to find it.
